Smith Creek Preserve: Elise Falls Trail Pics

Elise Falls, Smith Creek Preserve

The .8-mile trail to Elise Falls at Smith Creek Preserve (Newton County, near Boxley) is a very enjoyable moderately challenging hike. The highlight of course is the beautiful Elise Falls and the neighboring Smith Creek area.

Smith Creek Preserve is owned and operated by The Nature Conservancy.

These are some photos I took of Elise Falls Trail on April 19 and August 3, 2018.

Trail starts on the other side of this gate. Parking is nearby.

The first part of the hike, starting at the gate, is a dirt road. It is a pretty area though.
