Glory Hole Falls Trail (Ozark Forest) Summer Pics

A few weeks ago, I stopped by Glory Hole Falls Trail in the Ozark National Forest (Newton County). This was my second time to walk on this trail. (For more about the trail check out Brent’s trail review post or my trail review with gpx-based trail map.)

As expected, the trail has quite a different look in the summer than it did in February. Much more greenery in summer.

Thanks to some recent rain, there was a moderate flow on the stream and waterfall that day.

I really like the stream that flows up to and becomes Glory Hole Falls. The trail follows the stream for about a tenth of a mile. (There is also an alternate trail that follows the stream more closely.) The stream has a series of cascades and mini-waterfalls that are beautiful when flowing. (See photos below.)
