Back on October 22, my girlfriend and I had a nice walk on the 1-mile Horton Slough Trail at the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge, near Vian, Oklahoma.

This is an easy-to-walk paved nature trail. It starts by the headquarters building and follows the Horton Slough to the shore of Sally Jones Lake where there is a very nice viewing area.

An optional (and fun) feature of the trail is the swinging bridge.I have posted here some photos I took. (Click for larger view.)
