Lake Tenkiller: Overlook Nature Trail Fall Pics

Footbridge on the Overlook Nature Trail.

Overlook Nature Trail at Lake Tenkiller (Sequoyah County, Oklahoma) is an enjoyable 1.1-mile wooded hike at the south end of Lake Tenkiller. The out-and-back hike is 2.2 miles long.

My profile of the Overlook Nature Trail is here.

These are some photos I took on the trail last fall (November 6, 2018). There was still a good bit of fall foliage left.

Scenic area near the footbridge.

In quite a bit of the trail you can see Lake Tenkiller through the trees. The views are more expansive during leaf-off.

There is something of an overlook area with a view of Lake Tenkiller at around .3 miles

The day was mostly overcast but some sunlight managed to sneak in here and there.

There are a lot of interesting rocks and rock formations on the trail.

There was still quite a bit of color when I was there in the inlet area around the footbridge.
